چکیده
Anisotropic self-diffraction in photorefractive Bi(12)SiO(20) crystals is applied to the investigation of dynamic holographic recording through the diffusion process. Specific attention is paid to optimization of experimental parameters for real-time holographic interferometry. The resultant interferometer is applied to obtain both timeaverage and double-exposure interferograms of vibrating and displaced structures.

Phase-shifting real-time holographic interferometry that uses bismuth silicon oxide crystals.
A bismuth silicon oxide crystal is used in the diffusion regime as a dynamic recording medium in a real-time holographic interferometer based on anisotropic self-diffraction. This device is connected with an interferogram-analysis method that uses the phase-shifting technique for quantitative measurement of diffusive-reflecting object deformations. In addition to the usual error sources in phas...
متن کاملMeasuring the deposited energy from a non-ionizing laser beam in water by digital holographic interferometry
Digital Holographic interferometry is a powerful and widely used optical technique for accurate measurement of variations in physical quantities such as density, refractive index, and etc. In this study, an experimental digital holographic interferometry setup was designed and used to measure the amount of energy changes induced by absorption of radiation from a non-ionizing infrared laser beam...
متن کاملColor Holographic Interferometry (from Holographic Plates to Digital Holography)
ABSTRACT: We propose to detail a comparison of optical non invasive techniques using panchromatic holographic plates and digital holography for analyzing unsteady wake flows. Few years ago, ONERA developed optical methods based on real-time three-wavelength holographic interferometry using transmission and reflection holographic plates. These techniques combine the advantages of differential in...

Due to very interesting properties like reversible recording with unlimited number of recording-erasure cycles, high image resolution and high storage capability, thick photorefractive media have been applied in many areas like information storage (Chuang & Psaltis, 1997), pattern recognition (Alam & Khoury, 2000), phase conjugation (Chang et al, 2001), optical image processing (Poon & Banerjee...
متن کاملReal-Time Holographic Interferometry using Photorefractive Bi12SiO20 Crystals and their applications in Surfaces Analysis with Phase-Stepping Technique
This work searches to develop and to optimize a holographic interferometer that it uses the photorefractive Bi12SiO20 (BSO) crystals in diffusive regimen with configuration exhibiting diffraction anisotropy for RealTime Holographic Interferometry (RTHI) and applications in surfaces analysis. In RTHI with photorefractive BSO crystals, the writing-reading hologram process is made in real-time in ...
